LRTA goes Bicycle friendly?

The Light Rail Transit Authority or LRTA, a government-owned and/or controlled corporation and an attached agency under the Department of Transportation and Communications, is a public transport operator that is in charge of operating and maintaining the Manila Light Rail Transit System, and monitors the progress of construction of all LRT lines.

This October 24, Saturday, 9am, the LRTA will have a focus group discussion to set policy on its plans to allow folding bikes on line 1 & 2. I was invited to participate, considering that UP is a target community of the bi-modal transport scheme they’re brewing; but unfortunately, I will be out of town for a research undertaking.

No fret, the Chair of the National College of Public Administration and Governance, Ms. Sanchez, will go on my behalf.
